Aisha Praught-Leer
Aisha is a middle-distance runner competing for Jamaica while living and training in the USA. She competed in the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games in the steeplechase and the 1500m. Aisha was the gold medalist in the steeplechase at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.From as early as she can remember, she loved playing sports. From elementary, middle, and high school, all the way through college and beyond, sport is how she has made some of her best friends and continues to challenge myself daily. Aisha believes we learn a lot through testing our limits and potential. For her, running is the pinnacle of self-exploration and she is excited for the opportunity to continue to grow with Classroom Champions.
