Erica Voss is a bobsledder on Team Canada and most recently attended the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as an alternate. She grew up in Toronto playing every sport she could; soccer and track in the summers, ringette in the winter, and any other sport she could play during the school year. In school, her favourite subjects were math and art, and at the University of Toronto, she combined those interests and studied engineering. After 18 years playing ringette, Erica made the switch to a new winter sport in 2020 - bobsleigh. In her two seasons thus far, she has pushed herself to train harder than ever before, met some amazing people, and got the opportunity to travel the world. She even won a World Cup Bronze medal after just a year in the sport and made the Olympic team as an alternate. Erica is excited to share all the lessons she has learned with the wonderful students she’ll meet through Classroom Champions!
